Clifford S. Chang's practice focuses on preparing and prosecuting patent applications and trademarks. His interests and experience focuses on a variety of technologies, including computer software and hardware, as well as the biomedical and pharmaceutical fields. His understanding of small businesses and patent litigation uniquely positions him to counsel clients on IP transactions and litigation matters.

 

In addition to patent prosecution, Mr. Chang has previously practiced patent litigation at a large Los Angeles based law firm. Mr. Chang received his J.D. from USC's Gould School of Law, where he served as a student associate for the USC Small Business Clinic. He has also conducted laboratory research concerning multi-resistant bacterial strains and worked in the field of clinical research. Mr. Chang is conversant in Mandarin and gained experience in international legal matters while working at a Taiwanese firm.
