Joshua W. Chang's practice focuses on intellectual property issues, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. He regularly handles complex patent prosecution and patent strategy matters in a variety of technologies, including electrical engineering, memory systems, computer systems, solar cell technology, computer software, medical devices, and biotechnology. He also counsels clients on complex IP transactions and litigation matters.

 

Mr. Chang previously practiced at a large international law firm and at a mid-size patent prosecution boutique. He has also worked as a systems design engineer and has done extensive research for the organic electronics department at the University of California at Berkeley.
