Audrey Kwan is known for her ability to quickly develop a thorough understanding of a client's needs. She is frequently asked to take the most underdeveloped ideas and concepts, as well as the most detailed specifications, and transform them into intellectual property portfolios that provide strategic and targeted coverage.

She has developed intellectual property portfolios including patent and trademark portfolios that clients have used to successfully obtain financing at numerous stages, reach IPO, and develop into Fortune 100 companies.  She has developed portfolios valued in the hundreds of millions of dollars during acquisitions, and provided intellectual property strategy and foreign prosecution and enforcement advice to some of the world's leading companies.  She specializes in developing broad portfolios for technology companies that encompass the benefits of utility patents, foreign utility model patents, design patents, word trademarks, logo and 3D trademarks, copyright, and trade secret protection.

She has long term patent and trademark portfolio development relationships with numerous clients who have called upon her to replace prior counsel. She has handled without exception urgent matters having the shortest time frames. Ms. Kwan has prepared and prosecuted to fruition over a thousand U.S. and foreign patent and trademark applications for entities such as DoorDash, Brainguard, Clearlight, NeuroFocus (now Nielsen), Broadcom, Fyusion (a Cox Automotive Company), Cisco Systems, Dell, MobiTV (now Rovi/Tivo), Altera (now Intel), Nikon, RGB Spectrum, and the University of California.

Prior to founding Kwan & Olynick LLP, Ms. Kwan was a Partner at one of the largest patent prosecution firms in the SF Bay Area/Silicon Valley.
